ITS and The Vancouver International Film Festival

ITS has the pleasure of being the official IT provider for VIFF three years running, as well as, a Gold Sponsor for a film in the festival.  This year ITS has chosen to sponsor the film You’ve Been Trumped. A documentary of Donald Trumps’ new development idea to build the worlds most luxurious golf resort in the parish of  Balmedie Scotland- the birthplace of the sport.  An interesting look at the tactics to smear those who oppose the project in order to get more jobs and bring money into the village, showing those who were willing and brave enough to dig in and fight for their land.

Read more about it at the VIFF Website and watch the trailor

Minimize the Ribbon in Office 2007 or Office 2010

The Ribbon in Office is where all your tabs are for editing.

If you want to make room in order to see more of your page you can minimize the Ribbon by doing the following:
– Right click on the ribbon and select ‘minimize ribbon’

-Double click on the active tab of the ribbon. For example, if you are currently in the Home tab where you can change the font size, color, etc. you can double click on ‘Home’ and the Ribbon will minimize
– Ctrl + F1

To maximize the Ribbon do the following:
– Right click on the Ribbon and deselect minimize the Ribbon
– Double click on the Ribbon
– Ctrl + F1

There you have it.  An easy way to have more space available on your screen, this is especially good for users that have small computers.
